This is an original art print on a wooden frame of the Pope Lick Train Trestle, home to the Cryptid Goatman. The intersection of Pope Lick Rd. & Taylorsville Rd. In Louisville, KY has been the location of numerous tragedies on the trestle. I live 5 miles from the location and pass it regularly. According to legend, the Goatman uses either hypnosis or voice mimicry to lure trespassers onto the trestle to meet their demise before an oncoming train. Local artist Dixon Oz painted the trestle in 2007. The print measures 18x25.5” and is in good condition with minor blemishes that are virtually undetectable due to the busy composition of the piece. The shop on Taylorsville Rd. is now closed and the website can’t be reached (see reverse label). The last two images are photos of the trestle. The last one shows its length and why, once walking across, it’s impossible to outrun a train. It also shows Pope Lick Road and Pope Lick Creek.
