Add classic mid-century charm to your holiday décor with this adorable set of 3 vintage Christmas choir angel figurines, made in Japan during the 1950s–1960s. Each angel features hand-painted details, soft red flocked "velvet" skirts, and delicate lace trim around the collars and cuffs—hallmark features of vintage Japanese Christmas ceramics.
The set includes:
• Angel holding a candle
• Angel holding an open hymnal book
• Angel holding a cross
Each figure measures a smidge over 4.5" tall, making them perfect for mantel displays, village scenes, or retro holiday collections. The bases retain their original "Made in Japan" foil label and mold number. Unsure of the maker. Seems to be a fairly scarce set.
Condition
These angels are in excellent condition with minor expected wear from age. Velvet and lace show light wear consistent with age, and paint is clean and bright. No chips or cracks noted. Please see photos for details.
