A beautiful and unusual antique item in the shape of a ladies' Edwardian lace-up shoe. Originally, this would have been a hatpin holder with a velvet cushion in the top. While the cushion is now missing, it has been given a new life as a perfect little pot for a dressing table. It's made from a silver-tone white metal with a lovely aged patina. I have used it to hold my lipsticks and favourite rings, and it looks absolutely charming. It's the perfect size for keeping small treasures safe. Please Note - Condition: This is a genuine antique item with history. The original velvet pin cushion is missing from the top. There is a small hole in the metal at the very front of the shoe's toe (please see photos). This doesn't affect its use as a decorative trinket dish.
