★ This is an unused [TC US Export / Maroon Seat] version of the Mercedes-Benz 300SL, which was released in nine installments starting in February 1980. (Maroon seats were only available in the initial and second batches.)
★ Purchased nearly 45 years ago and stored in a cardboard box, I took it out for this listing. As shown in photo 15, there is some chrome adhesion on the right front wheel (it's not due to the body rubbing or any scratches on the tires or fenders, so it seems to be a manufacturing defect).
★ The body paint is very clean, with no dust particles, and in excellent condition.
★ The original box is also in very clean condition, showing no signs of aging.
★ The box will be folded, and the body will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped via Yu-Packet Post Mini.
