This is a Montblanc Meisterstück 644 fountain pen.
This is a vintage model manufactured in the 1950s, and it is a very rare pen equipped with a telescopic piston mechanism (extendable) that is rarely seen today. It has a unique structure where the piston extends in two stages when the knob is turned, and it is highly regarded as a model that symbolizes the high level of Montblanc's technology at the time.
The nib is F (fine).
It has a flexible writing feel, and the line width feels slightly finer by modern standards, making it very suitable for writing small characters. The ink flow is stable, and it is also very practical.
The overall condition is good, and it can be called a beautiful item.
As shown in the image, there is some plating剥がれ (peeling) on the top of the cap due to experience, and a very slight dent on the cap, but there are no other noticeable scratches, cracks, chips, or malfunctions. There is no name engraving, and the piston mechanism operates smoothly.
Among the vintage Meisterstücks, the telescopic 644 has a small number of distributions, and it is a model that is highly valued for both its collectibility and practicality.
In recent years, the number of distributions has been extremely small, and it has become particularly difficult to obtain good condition specimens.
Although many fake and defective items are also circulating, this item has been authenticated and its operation has been confirmed, so please rest assured. If it turns out to be a fake, we will refund the full amount including shipping.
This listing is for the pen body only.
The box is not included as it is for photography purposes.
