Happy End was a pioneering Japanese rock band. It was composed of a stellar lineup: Haruomi Hosono, Takashi Matsumoto, Eiichi Ohtaki, and Shigeru Suzuki. They were influenced by bands like Buffalo Springfield and Moby Grape, and can be considered the first band to fuse Japanese with rock sensibilities. Unfortunately, Happy End disbanded after only three years of activity.
The record I am offering for sale is their first album, "Happy End," released in 1970. Although it has been reissued many times since, this is the original first pressing, priced at 1900 yen. The jacket is clean and free of stains. There is a slight crease on the bottom right corner. The record itself has no discoloration, scratches, or warping. I believe it is in very good condition for a record that is 55 years old. There is some slight fading on the left side of the obi (sleeve).
I have stored it carefully, but it is a very old item. This is a used item, sold as is. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect condition item. Thank you.
