This is the most authentic model, a universally popular medium-rise straight from RRL.
It's often compared to the 501XX, but they are completely different.
It's more like a slightly slim regular straight, interpreted in a modern way.
RRL, created by Ralph Lauren with a deep commitment to vintage, offers unique items, and has collectors worldwide. This rare MADE IN USA denim from RRL has arrived. We are introducing the 5-pocket STRAIGHT LEG, a classic and staple model among RRL denim. Its biggest appeal is the use of Japanese selvedge denim. Selvedge denim is woven on old-fashioned looms called power looms. The fabric is carefully woven by craftsmen who adjust the weaving speed and tension, so only about one bolt can be woven per day, which inevitably increases the price. The characteristic 'ears' of selvedge denim are hemmed to prevent fraying, and of course, it uses 'red ear' with red stitching!
This pair is filled with details and Ralph Lauren's passion, typical of MADE IN USA.
The whiskers and honeycombs are also very beautiful, and it was one of my favorite pairs.
