Thank you for viewing.

Sony Walkman (portable cassette player) WM-FX877
Refurbished, fully functional.

The cassette player is fully functional.

Playback, fast forward, rewind, volume adjustment, and radio have all been tested and confirmed to be working.

The rubber belt has been replaced, and the item has been serviced.
No scratchy sounds.
As shown in the photos, the head and pitch roller are also in beautiful condition.
The sound quality maintains a clear sound, and I believe it is an item that you can use for a long time.

Operation has been confirmed with both AA batteries and gum batteries.

This Walkman is characterized by its sound-focused design, and it is a model that allows you to adjust the sound quality in 4 stages.
Although the original remote control is not included, it can be set on the main unit's panel (see the last photo).
- RV (Revive): Emphasizes high frequencies when playing old tapes, etc.
- MV (Mega Bass): Emphasizes low frequencies
- GRV (Groove): Further emphasizes low frequencies
- NORM (Normal)
It's like an evolution of DBB (Digital Bass Boost), isn't it? When set to Groove, you can enjoy powerful bass, and with old tapes with degraded sound quality, you can adjust the sound to have more sharpness with Revive. You can adjust the sound quality according to the condition of the tape, so I think it's a fun model to use daily.

In addition, as a general characteristic of old portable cassette players, using long recording time tapes or cassette tapes in poor condition may put a strain on the main unit and adversely affect the sound quality and motor.
When playing tapes, we recommend using 60-minute or shorter tapes from a reliable manufacturer in good condition.

I think it is an item in very good condition, but please consider purchasing only if you understand that it is a vintage item from about 40 years ago.

Due to other sales channels, the listing may end early.

Thank you.
