Vintage covered vegetable bowl from 1940s. Made by American Limoges China Company in Sebring, Ohio. Buckingham pattern. Part of their Candle Light line. Design consists of a coral colored band around the lid edge and bowl edge. Leaf type design running over the coral band that is 22K gold. Lid has a 22K gold ring above design, and two 22K gold stripes on lid handle. 22K gold stripe on each handle, and a ring of 22K gold running around a ridge below the design. Marked on the bottom as "Warranted 22-K gold". Logo & information is on the bottom in the same 22K gold. Logo and info on bottom is intact. Gold on bowl and lid is intact. Good condition for age & use. One small chip on inside edge of the lid (part that goes into bowl). About 10 1/2 inches long from handle to handle, 8 1/2 inches across other way. Opening diameter 7 1/4 inches. Bowl with lid about 6 inches high.
