Vintage Austrian Crystal Goldtone Filigree Medallion Brooch Purple Rhinestones

For your consideration is this beautiful vintage brooch. It does not bear a maker's mark and most likely originally came with a hang tag. I am uncertain of the maker. The back of the piece bears a v-bar type clasp, which was mainly used during the 1950s but the textured back has me thinking the piece is more modern. The stones are set pavé style and are a mixture of light purple to a deep rich purple. They are set into a gold-tone filigree style setting. The piece measures 2 inches in diameter and no issues are observed. An exceptional and beautiful piece of fashion history.
