Vintage Brass Quail Birds Family Complete Set 4 Made Japan Mid Century Modern

A rare and complete set of four vintage brass quail figurines, proudly Made in Japan — a standout compared to the more commonly found India-made examples.
This charming family grouping features four quail in graduated sizes, each beautifully cast with detailed feathering and expressive forms. The largest quail stands just under 6 inches tall, with the others scaled proportionally for a cohesive display.

All four pieces are hollow brass, giving them a satisfying weight without being solid. Two retain their original velvet bottoms; two are missing the velvet, which does not affect stability or display.
These quail date to the mid-20th century and fit perfectly with Mid-Century Modern, Hollywood Regency, traditional, or eclectic décor.
A wonderful find for collectors — full sets like this are increasingly hard to find, especially marked Japan.
