Vintage black sheer lightweight sweater or long sleeve top by designer Salvatore Ferragamo. Size XS. Estimated 1990s but hard to be sure.
This incredible piece has horizontal sheer knit stripes of different widths and a large, more opaque section over the bust and midriff, as well as thicker stripes on the long sleeves. There is a silver metal Ferragamo logo attached at the hip. Extremely delicate finely woven fabric.
93% cotton, 7% polyamide/nylon.
Sold as is: there is a small area on the open weave of the chest that has come loose and needs to be repaired by a seamstress or someone who can darn at a high level. It is still wearable as is over a black tank but flaw would be seen over a light color or bare skin.
